WECC SharePoint Website Design

Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) hired us to help them create a front-end and backend SharePoint website and communication tool. They needed a partner that could create solid design and work within the SharePoint environment.

We were able to design a website that fits within the available functionality of SharePoint and carries through their new branding initiatives. We designed template pages and an in-depth live style guide to keep everyone on the team aligned.

WECC oversees and coordinates the bulk power availability in the Western United States, Canada and Mexico. And no, they won’t let you play evil genius and flip the switch to shut down power to North America. Yes, we asked.

Project Highlights

  • Templates were designed and handed off to their SharePoint team to implement.
  • An in-depth HTML5 style guide was create to help keep everyone on the team aligned with the look and feel.
  • Interesting data display techniques were created to allow interaction with large amounts of information without the user feeling overwhelmed.
