Information Architecture Case Study

Right Intel brings us in on a reserved hourly basis to help them take big ideas, make sense of them and put them into motion.

This project represents a case study of our information architecture (IA) work—taking tons of information, ideas, brainstorming notes, and applying our own ideas then distilling all of that down into something that can actually be designed and built.

This case study shows taking a potential campaign with multiple touch points and different levels of engagement. The second diagram represents a visual progress update that was shared mid-way through the project. As this is a case study and not necessarily the end product, sensitive information has been redacted.

When you work with a team that can take your project from a dump of ideas to a polished product you are often going to get much better results than working with a freelancer for design and a another for coding and then hoping everything comes together at the end.

Project Highlights

  • Visual layout of a communications campaign with multiple touch points.
  • Visual overview of progress completed during the project.
  • Information architecture documents like these ensure a smooth project, with alignment before a lot of design and development resources are committed.
