5 Neat Things — Design, Development, Organization

This is a round up post of some of the things we’ve been looking at lately.

1. Lots of data, small screen.

This is from a blog we love called Little Big Details. I’ve been having an ongoing conversation with EveryDave about solutions for this problem—specifically for us it’s how to fit large tables of data on a mobile device.

It’s not just stream of consciousness and it’s not a big beautiful full color brochure. It’s a tool.

5. What can you get done today?

This is a concept we’ve been working with some designers on — when you work in a company and you have a billion things to do, how do you accurately schedule or even communicate what you have going on. Goal Stacker could be a piece of the solution.

I’ve talked about our friend Homeschool before. He helps us with development projects on and off. And he is brilliant at helping me understand mathematical applications.

As we were working on our first Facebook App for the Utah Symphony Utah Opera I asked him at one point to figure out how tall my image should be if I knew the width according to the Golden Rectangle. He flipped the number back to me, then built this handy tool for me the next day:
