Just Launched! Bowen Collins & Associates Website

July 16, 2010 | Written by Amber Sawaya

SAWAYA Consulting is pleased to announce the launch of the redesigned Bowen Collins & Associates Website — www.bowencollins.com

Some of the highlights of the new website:

  • Updated Focus & Content — Bowen Collins & Associates has done a lot of work in the 13 years they have been in business. The new website is a true showcase of their projects and services.
  • Refined Logo — As part of this process we updated the logo to have cleaner type and a more modern feel—while keeping the elements of the original mark to maintain consistency.
  • Animated Display — To show a lot of cool project photos in a unique way we incorporated a content slider on the homepage. Users can scroll through the projects (or watch as they automatically change) or click on a project to learn more. For you tech nerds out there we did it all with HTML/CSS & jQuery.
  • Services Display — There is a lot of talent and experience at Bowen Collins & Associates and we were tasked with showing more than 150 different services in a way that wasn’t overwhelming. With input and help from the website team we were able to come up with two display options—an accordion style list and an interactive services display. These are both worth taking some time to check out and play with.
  • Going Forward — To help keep the site updated and fresh we installed several dynamic features that help the client edit the site. Every season (summer, fall, winter, spring) the colors and footer update. Bowen Collins & Associates also have full control over content using our easy-to-use content management system.

Special thanks to our awesome client and everyone on their team that helped this website come together. These guys are smart, funny as can be and working with a bunch of engineers keeps the project clicking precisely against the gantt chart timeline. Thank you as well to Kira Griffin (design work), Amanda Nelson Photography (head shots / draper location images) and to Provo River Water Users Association (PRWUA) who referred us.
