Create a Friend list to Only See Your Closest Friends
Facebook has recently (March 2009) released changes to the homepage to show a realtime stream of updates from friends.
If you’ve been using Facebook for sometime you probably have a pretty cluttered friend list and want to just see your top 5-10 real friends. This tutorial will show you how to filter out the noise and have the option to just see your closest friends.
Step 1: Create A New List
Login and go to your Facebook homepage. Click Make a New List on the left side.
Step 2: Name The List
Enter a name in the field.
Step 3: Start Adding Friends
Start typing friend’s names to add them to your list. Remember, these are only the top people you want to see when you click this list.
Step 4: Filter Your List
Now that your Friend List is set up you can filter your Facebook feed by clicking the new list on the left of your Facebook homepage.
